Install phpMyAdmin CentOS 7 / RHEL 7

Install phpMyAdmin to operate MariaDB on web browser from Clients.
1) Install and start Apache httpd, refer to here.
2) instal MySql, refer here
3) Install PHP, refer to here.
4) Install phpMyAdmin.
# install from EPEL

yum install epel-release
yum update
yum --enablerepo=epel -y install phpMyAdmin php-mysql php-mcrypt

modify phpmyadmin config to access it from remotely.

vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/phpMyAdmin.conf

commit changes like below

Alias /phpMyAdmin /usr/share/phpMyAdmin
Alias /phpmyadmin /usr/share/phpMyAdmin

<Directory /usr/share/phpMyAdmin/>
AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

<IfModule mod_authz_core.c>
# Apache 2.4
<RequireAny>
# Require ip 127.0.0.1
# Require ip ::1
Require all granted
</RequireAny>
</IfModule>

restart apache

systemctl restart httpd

5) Testing

open your ip address like below

http://your-ip/phpmyadmin
